Felecia Rotellini will join Arizona Attorney General Terry Goddard and others for 2010 Victims’ Rights Week Event

Felecia Rotellini will attend the National Victims’ Rights Week event with Arizona Attorney General Terry Goddard featuring elected officials and several prominent victims’ organizations and advocates on Monday, April 19, 2010.

“This is a time to reflect and honor the victims of crimes and their families and loved ones. We recognize and support the tremendous work of prosecutors and victims’ rights organizations and advocates throughout the state who provide critical resources, comfort, and support to those in need,” said Rotellini.
The event will begin at 9 am at The Carnegie Center, 1101 West Washington Street in Phoenix.
“In my office, I will make it my mission to protect victims of crime. They must be equal players in our criminal justice system,” said Rotellini. “As Attorney General, I will expand the Office of Victims' Services, a unit within the AG’s office, to provide assistance to all victims of crimes and technical advice to other agencies that provide victims’ services. I will also fight for funding for domestic abuse shelters and child protective services. As the state’s top law enforcement office, the Attorney General’s Office should be the one place all victims of crimes can call for help.”
